2022 Parish Council elections
Uncontested election results – Glaisdale Parish
Glaisdale Parish Council elects 7 councillors to serve the wards of Glaisdale (4 members) and Lealholm (3 members)
Where the number of persons nominated for election is less than the full 7 members then those validly nominated are declared as elected unopposed and vacancies are created for the remaining members (in this case – 2 members for the Glaisdale ward)
The normally elected members can then co-opt individuals into the vacant positions to serve as councillors for the remaining term of office.
If you would like to be considered for co-option onto the council then please write (or email) to the Clerk setting out your reasons for wishing to be a councillor and how you hope to serve your community by doing so. Applications should be received by the Clerk by Fri 15th July 2022 in order for council members to consider all applications.
