Planning Applications
All Planning Applications submitted to the local planning authority (North York Moors National Park Planning Authority) are copied to the relevant Parish Council to enable local views and issues to be heard in relation to each application.
Parish Councils can, after due consideration, either approve or disapprove of a particular application and highlight local issues or concerns that may not be immediately apparent to the Planning Authority without local knowledge.
The Planning Authority are not obliged to concur with such comment or recommendation and the ultimate decision of the authority may not reflect the recommendation of the Parish Council .
Listed below are references to the applications received by this Parish Council for the previous three months. Details of the applications listed can be found on the local Planning Authorities website.
