Coronavirus and your Council

During the coronavirus pandemic many of the restrictions imposed to help contain the spread of the virus have recently been eased, although some are now being reimposed.  However the government advice for public bodies, such as the parish council, remains that meetings should continue to be held remotely where possible. One of the imposed restrictions that is still in place prevents the meeting indoors of members of more than two households and until this restriction is lifted the parish council will continue to hold meetings via video conferencing. Members of the press and public may still join these meetings but must advise the Clerk in advance of the meeting that they wish to do so and must provide an email address to receive a joining link.

We will endeavour to keep members of the public updated as to the councils’ activity through this website and on the council noticeboards throughout the parish.

Council members wish all local parishioners and their families a safe passage through these unprecedented and difficult times and look forward to resuming ‘normal’ activity as soon as possible.

THANK YOU
